Terms & Conditions

About this website

The website is a free information and signposting service intended for wedding businesses acting in a business capacity. These terms govern use of the website, not the purchase of tickets or attendance at an event. Please read them before using the site. If you do not agree, please stop using it.

LondonWeddingWeek.co.uk is operated by Guides for Brides Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 03957394, with its registered office at Larkhill Farm, Wantage, OX12 8PJ, United Kingdom. Contact: Alison Hargreaves, alison@guidesforbrides.co.uk. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to Guides for Brides Limited. Last updated: 25 October 2026.

Our role and the role of organisers

London Wedding Week brings together information about separately organised events. Each listing identifies the relevant organiser. Listing an event does not make us its organiser, agent, ticket seller, booking intermediary or guarantor. We do not accept bookings or payments through this website and do not administer refunds. All listings are free; organisers do not pay us listing fees, sponsorship fees or referral commissions for inclusion.

The organiser identified for each event is responsible for that event, including its programme, speakers, venue arrangements, accessibility, safety, legal compliance, ticketing, pricing, entry requirements, changes, cancellation and refunds. Any booking contract is with the organiser or booking provider identified during the booking process, under the applicable booking terms.

Some listed events are organised by Guides for Brides, Beyond Weddings or the UK Wedding Association. Their inclusion does not make Guides for Brides Limited responsible for events organised by other entities. Where Guides for Brides Limited is itself the organiser or contracting supplier, its responsibilities in that separate capacity are governed by the relevant event and booking terms and applicable law. These website terms do not exclude those responsibilities.

Event information and verification

Event descriptions, dates, times, prices, availability, programmes and other details may be supplied by organisers and may change without notice. Information is supplied for general information only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we give no representation, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, that information on the website is accurate, complete, current or suitable for your needs. We do not undertake to independently verify every listing or to update information immediately when changes occur.

Contact the relevant organiser directly before booking, paying, travelling or otherwise relying on a listing. Confirm all material details, including the organiser’s legal identity, total price and taxes, availability, venue, accessibility, eligibility, cancellation and refund arrangements. Do not treat inclusion as our endorsement, recommendation, accreditation or assurance of an organiser or event.

Please report suspected errors to alison@guidesforbrides.co.uk. We may correct, amend or remove listings at our discretion. We do not guarantee that any particular event will be listed or remain listed.

Enquiries and bookings

Use the organiser’s website links and contact details wherever possible. Questions about an event, bookings, attendance, payments, cancellations, complaints and refunds should be directed to that event’s organiser.

If you use our contact form, your name, business email and message will be received by Guides for Brides Limited and, where relevant, forwarded to the organiser identified for the event. Forwarding an enquiry does not create a booking, reserve a place, appoint us as your agent or make us a party to a booking contract. We do not guarantee delivery, an organiser’s response or a response time. If a matter is urgent, contact the organiser directly.

Do not send payment details, sensitive personal information or unnecessary information about other people through the form. Our Privacy and Cookie Policy explains how we handle enquiries and update subscriptions.

External websites

Links may take you to websites or services controlled by organisers or other third parties. We do not control those services or their content, availability, security, privacy practices or booking terms. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility for third-party websites, services, transactions, acts or omissions. Check their terms and privacy information before using them. A link does not imply endorsement.

Limits on liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. All exclusions below apply only to the extent permitted by law and subject to any applicable requirement of reasonableness or fairness.

Subject to that qualification, we exclude liability, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for loss or damage arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this information website or its listings, or from third-party links, organisers or events. This includes inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or omitted event information and events that change, are cancelled or do not take place.

In particular, and subject to the same qualification, we exclude liability for loss of profits, revenue, business, bookings, opportunities, anticipated savings, goodwill or data; wasted business expenditure; travel or accommodation costs incurred in reliance on listings; and indirect or consequential loss.

These exclusions relate to our role as website operator and information provider. They do not displace a separate contract under which Guides for Brides Limited organises or supplies an event, or remove any non-excludable legal duty. Your rights concerning a booking should be pursued against the responsible organiser or contracting supplier, subject to any rights you have against us that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Availability and acceptable use

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors or harmful code. We may suspend, withdraw, restrict or change the site or any content. Take appropriate precautions to protect your devices and systems.

Use the website lawfully. Do not submit fraudulent, unlawful, abusive or misleading messages, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the site or harvest personal information for unsolicited communications. We may restrict access or remove material where reasonably necessary to protect the service or comply with law.

Website content and intellectual property

Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the website belong to us or the relevant content owners or licensors. Event names, logos and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. You may view, download and print reasonable extracts for your own internal business information. Do not otherwise reproduce, republish or commercially exploit website content without the relevant rights holder’s permission, except as permitted by law. Do not imply an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.

Privacy and updates

Our Privacy and Cookie Policy explains our handling of personal information and cookies. Signing up for London Wedding Week news and event updates is optional and separate from an enquiry. You can unsubscribe at any time. We do not automatically add you to other mailing lists.

Changes and general provisions

We may revise these terms from time to time by publishing an updated version with a revised date. Changes apply to subsequent use of the website and do not retrospectively change separate event booking contracts.

If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in exercising a right does not waive it. No third party has a right to enforce these website terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

These terms and any dispute or claim arising from the website, including non-contractual disputes or claims, are governed by the law of England and Wales. For business users, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you use the website as a consumer despite its business focus, nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer protections or any right to bring proceedings in courts available to you under applicable law.
